A Former Paramount Exec Lists Hamptons Mansion for Nearly $20 Million

A sprawling custom-built estate in Bridgehampton, New York, has hit the market for nearly $20 million, owned by a former top Paramount executive and his husband. David Lawenda, who stepped down from his role at the entertainment giant in 2024, and Kevin Menard are selling the home they designed and built from the ground up.

The property, located on over two acres, was conceived as a personal retreat. Lawenda and Menard worked closely with architects and builders to create a residence that blends modern luxury with the relaxed coastal atmosphere of the Hamptons. The home features six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and two half-baths, spread across roughly 6,500 square feet of living space.

Interior details include wide-plank white oak floors, a chef's kitchen with top-tier appliances, and a great room with a double-sided fireplace. The primary suite occupies its own wing and offers a private sitting area, two walk-in closets, and a spa-like bathroom. Outside, the grounds include a heated gunite pool, a cabana with a full outdoor kitchen, and manicured lawns. A separate two-bedroom guest house provides additional space for visitors.

Lawenda spent decades in the media industry, most recently serving as president of digital sales for Paramount Global before retiring. The listing comes as the Hamptons real estate market continues to see strong demand for high-end, move-in-ready properties. The estate is being marketed by a local brokerage.
