The Seoul Investment Promotion Foundation is stepping up efforts to attract global investment after successfully holding tailored, one-on-one meetings with around 100 companies at a major European real estate fair. The foundation attended the event as part of a broader push to bring foreign capital into Seoul's commercial and residential development pipeline.
During the fair, representatives from the foundation met with institutional investors, asset managers, and development firms from across Europe. The meetings focused on specific projects in Seoul, including office towers, mixed-use complexes, and logistics facilities. Rather than hosting a general promotional booth, the foundation arranged private sessions so each company could discuss its own investment priorities and review available sites in detail.
Officials said the response from European investors remained strong despite uncertainty in global property markets. Many of the companies expressed interest in long-term partnerships, particularly in areas tied to Seoul's urban regeneration plans and its growing technology and finance districts.
The foundation plans to follow up with the most promising contacts in the coming months. Additional meetings are expected in other financial hubs as part of a sustained campaign to position Seoul as a stable and attractive destination for overseas real estate capital.
