Actress Elisha Cuthbert has finally sold her longtime Los Angeles home, closing the deal at $1.93 million just days after slashing the asking price by a quarter of a million dollars. The "24" and "Happy Endings" star had been trying to offload the West Hollywood property for roughly a year, struggling to find a buyer willing to meet her initial demands.
Cuthbert originally purchased the home back in 2005, long before the current real estate boom in Southern California. The property, a traditional-style residence nestled in the hills, features three bedrooms and three bathrooms spread over roughly 2,400 square feet. It includes a pool, a guest house, and mature landscaping that offers a degree of privacy rare for the area.
Sources familiar with the transaction say the home first hit the market last summer with an asking price well above $2 million. After months of little activity and multiple open houses, the price was gradually reduced. The final $250,000 cut came just days before the sale, suggesting the actress was eager to close the chapter and move on. It remains unclear whether Cuthbert has already purchased a new property or plans to rent in the meantime. The buyer was not identified.
